Shocking reports have gone on to reveal how a 20-year-old student has avoided jail despite assaulting a young girl on several occasions.

According to local media reports, 20-year-old Jachin Joshua Mascall met the 12-year-old on an online dating platform called Tinder. And that’s where he got to know her and slowly began to meet her too.

However, he has been accused of repeatedly r*ping her on several occasions. Despite all these horrifying details coming to light and the accused admitting to the crime, many were beyond baffled to see him avoid jail and instead be given community service as his punishment.

Jachin stated to the court that he traveled to meet the girl last year in London from his home in Bedfordshire. The duo spent two days traveling together around the capital and visited various locations including a car park at Stratford Shopping Center.

Right after his arrest, he admitted to having s*xual relations with the young woman who was just two months short of turning 13. However, in his defense, he spoke about how he assumed she was 16 years old in age.

Furthermore, he admitted to the three counts of r*pe of a child under the age of 13 at London’s Crown Court. And that’s exactly where he spent nearly seven months in custody. Soon, he was released on bail, as confirmed by local media outlets.

But the judge of the case has gone on to mention how there was no suggestion that the accused had any pedophilic tendencies or intentions at all. He even revealed how the accused assumed that he was dealing with a 16-year-old since she had her own place to live and her own vehicle.

Now, the 20-year-old student will serve 40 days in a rehabilitation program, alongside a 48 session maturity program too.
