A 61-year-old medical secretary was reportedly found lying dead in her home, for nearly two and a half years.
According to local media reports, the woman was present alone inside her residence and now questions are being raised about how not even a single person was able to notice.
The victim was identified as Sheila Seleoane and it’s incredibly bizarre how not even a single one of her neighbors would notice the ordeal.
Other reports stated how the victim did not even have a single friend or relative who would potentially care about her welfare or sudden disappearance.
Sources have now gone on to reveal what they believe happened on the day of her death.
It was reportedly a weekday morning and Sheila was off to work. After wishing plenty of people on the roads a good morning, she returned back to her residence in the evening.
She lived on the fourth floor of a tall apartment building, which happened to be located in the hustle and bustle of London’s busy streets.
Many described her as a woman that was so well put together and extremely presentable too.
“You could always see her in a smartly tailored black colored coat with black-toned trousers too. She liked to pair them with a pair of black court shoes. Sometimes, you would see her hair tied in a bun”- the young professional who lived across the street remembered.
“I never really spoke to her and in the end, it was mostly related to a hi or a bye, nothing more or nothing less than that”- the young woman continued.
Since most of the flats in her building were owned by a charity, she was more or less detached from them.
This year in February, police decided to break into her apartment and that’s when they found her skeletal remains lying on the sofa.
As investigations into the bizarre incident continue, many can’t help but wonder how a woman like her could vanish for so long without a single person noticing her disappearance. What do you think?
