The Missouri high school shooter who killed a teacher and a student has been named and pictured.
Two people were killed and seven more were injured on Monday morning after 19-year-old Orlando Harris entered Central Visual and Performing Arts in St. Louis and opened fire before he was shot dead by the police.
It was now revealed that Harris was a former student who graduated from the high school in 2021.
According to the reports, the teenager had no criminal record but had a history of mental health issues.
At the time of the shooting, the gunman was dressed all in black, police confirmed. It currently remains unclear how he managed to enter the school and evade seven armed guards in the process.
As the police chief confirmed, Harris lived with his relatives. The police have since searched a home on Pennsylvania Avenue in connection to the shooter.
Meanwhile, a yearbook photo of Orlando emerged.
The bombshell news comes after students and parents were pictured breaking into tears and embracing each other outside the school.
During the showdown inside the building, some students were also seen climbing out of the windows and on top of the roof.
As some students revealed after the shooter was contained, Harris threatened to kill everyone and said he was “tired of everybody.”
One student who came face to face with the murderer also claimed that she survived only because the 19-year-old’s gun got jammed.
Meanwhile, St. Louis Police Chief Michael Sack confirmed the identities of the two deceased victims. One was 61-year-old health teacher Jean Kirk Kuczka. The other was a 16-year-old Black female student named Alex.
At least seven other students aged between 15 and 16 were injured in the shooting. Two were shot in the leg and two in the arm. One student suffered wounds to their hands and jaw and one suffered abrasions. Another student suffered a fractured ankle.
The shooting remains under investigation.
