A mother who was responsible for killing her partner and sister after taking drugs and getting behind her car’s wheel has recently been spared jail.
According to local media outlets, the mother is believed to have inhaled four big bongs, hours before she started to lose control of her vehicle. And that is what led to the tragic murder of her husband and her sister through her own hands. The mother’s daughter was also critically injured in the accident but thankfully managed to make it out alive.
Amberly Jane Hendy who hails from Victoria says she lost complete control of her car, all thanks to the sudden appearance of a hailstorm.
And that is what caused her to directly smash into another car that was located on the highway in 2019.
The tragic car crash is believed to have taken the lives of two passengers and has also caused a major uproar on social media too.
It is also believed that a few other people were also injured who were seeking treatment at that time for the horrifying aftermath of the crash.
Hendy’s youngest daughter is still trying to recover from the tragedy and is fighting a number of battles related to her mental trauma that she was forced to encounter on that particular day.
While many members of the community and her own loved ones expected her to receive a strict punishment for the offense, they were shocked to learn how the complete opposite had happened.
The mother was granted complete freedom from jail and instead was assigned with community service for a three-month-long duration.
She did however plead guilty to two counts related to dangerous driving which led to her passengers dying and getting severely injured.point 341 |
