Kanye West is landing himself in hot water after making startling confessions on his recent podcast appearance.

The rapper went viral after claiming George Floyd died from taking an excessive dose of fentanyl. And as you can imagine, the news has the world shocked.

Therefore, George Floyd’s family threatened to sue the rapper for his bizarre behavior and false statements, especially after the court of law declared Floyd’s cause of death to be neck compression due to an officer exerting excessive force during his arrest.

The news comes as a civil rights activist and attorney Lee Merritt mentioned that Floyd’s family was very upset and disturbed by the statements made by the star rapper, adding how it was just not okay to say whatever he felt without thinking about the serious implications of such behavior.

West was seen making the shocking claims during his appearance on Revolt TV’s Drinks Champs Podcast. This was also where he was seen giving out a glowing review of the Candace Owens Documentary called, ‘The greatest lie ever sold: George Floyd and the Rise of the BLM.’

Merritt also went on to add how the comments made by the rapper seemed to be a move to undermine them and their constant fight against such police brutality that resulted in the death of an innocent man.

The lawyer then urged the star to keep his comments to himself and think before he spoke, adding how no one can defame the dead.
