What would you do if you found maggots inside your favorite snack?
While it may sound like a hypothetical question to many, this is the story of a real-life incident that has left a young child traumatized for days, thanks to the carelessness of authorities.
Accoriding to local media reports, one young child was left scared and vomiting for days after she discovered a series of maggots inside her edibles for lunchtime.
39-year-old mother Rachel Stone says her child has not been well ever since the horrifying ordeal took place and has been living in fear since then.
Daughter Poppy claims to have found maggots stuffed inside her Dairylea Lunchables and now she can’t force her child to eat anything because of the trauma that it has resulted, the mother tried to explain.
Rachel revealed how she purchased the edibles recently, one day before she sent them to her child to school for lunch. But little did she know that the delicious meal was filled with maggots.
The horrified mother is now lashing out at the branch’s store in Ireland which is where she claims to have bought the product, thinking it would be fit for human consumption.
“I happened to be enjoying my meal when all of a sudden, I hear my daughter scream. She just kept telling me that there were maggots in her ham slices. They appeared like worms for her because she didn’t know what to make of it”- the mother tried to elaborate in detail.
Since then, the mother has complained to both the branch as well as the product manufacturer. However, both of them refuse to accept responsibility for the matter.
