Steelers Quarterback Dwayne Haskins has reportedly been killed in a tragic accident but sources revealed how he left a chilling note, moments before his devastating death.
The renowned sports star passed away while he was walking on the highway when a mighty dump truck rammed directly into his body.
According to local media reports, the accident took place right along the I-595 which is located in Fort Lauderdale.
Moreover, it is still unclear why the star was walking all alone on the highway that was reportedly busy and filled with traffic. But it was recently revealed by authorities how he was rammed into by the truck while he tried to switch lanes of traffic.
Paramedics and other rescue teams rushed to the scene after hearing about the incident but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Haskins was reportedly present in the southern part of Florida where he was undergoing training for an upcoming event with his fellow teammates but little did anyone know that he would no longer be joining him due to his sudden and tragic death.
But what has really caught so many people’s eye is the chilling and haunting final note he left behind, moments before his death had taken place.
It mentioned the following words: “It is what it is, will keep you in peace.”
The heartbreaking note was found on the star’s Instagram account, just hours before he died on the Florida highway.
Sources claim the news has sent grief and shockwaves around the state as many are at an absolute loss for words about the incident that they certainly didn’t see coming.
The player’s coach Mike Tomlin led the pack of tributes, where he added how devastated he felt over the sad event.
