Horrifying reports are coming in about the death of a 2 year old autistic boy who was reportedly killed by his own mother’s partner.
The young victims was revealed as Kyrell Matthews who passed away in the most tragic manner imaginable.
He was reportedly subjected to weeks of abuse that resulted in 41 fractures to his rib, followed by an abundance of soft tissue injuries too.
Now, the suspect has been sentenced for 25 years in prison for inflicting the most unsurvivable injuries imaginable.
The suspect has been identified by authorities as Phylesia Shirley who was found guilty of the manslaughter.
This horrifying incident had reportedly taken place in the month of October in 2019. And many loved ones of the tiny victim anxiously awaited for justice to be served over the years.
Reports spoke about how the young toddler entered into a state of cardiac arrest while he was at his residence, which was located in the South of London.
“There was a four centimeter long cut along his liver and he is also said to have suffered from internal bleeding of the worst kind, not to mention his 41 rib fractures”- explained authorities.
The court heard how he suffered months of severe beatings on a daily basis and that is what ultimately led up to his death in the end.
Both mother Shirley and her evil partner Kemar Brown had stood trial for the case. But the court found the latter guilty and jailed him for 25 years.
Witnesses in the courtroom described how both mother and her lover gave expressionless faces while in the courtroom, while receiving their final verdict on the tragic case.
The judge for the case added how the courtroom had to listen to some of the most heart-wrenching stories imaginable about an innocent and defenseless toddler.
While telling the lead suspect to be ashamed of himself, he also mentioned how the mother continually chose to leave her child in her partner’s care, in addition to all the mistreatment and violence used upon him.
