Police believe that Williams and Lagway started an extramarital affair but Lagway had ended things and returned back to her husband. In retaliation, Williams allegedly hired Davies to kill Lagway and the entire family.

On the Houston Chronicles report, William might have watched the murders on her phone through FaceTime, it is also believed that Williams allegedly enticed Davies with all the money inside the apartment if he committed the murders.

The incident happened in an apartment in the 12100 block of Fondren Road. The family’s 10-year-old daughter survived the attack but was critically injured. The girl reportedly played dead while protecting her infant brother after the alleged killer threw him across the room.

Prosecutor Sean Teare with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office said in court: “We believe their relationship ended badly about a week before these murders.”

Teare added that there is evidence that Williams was on the phone with Davis during the murders and watched a portion of the massacre, or its bloody aftermath, on FaceTime.

Teare said it was even possible that she talked to the victims before they were executed one by one after being lined up on the couch.
