Shocking reports are coming from the United Kingdom regarding a Nigerian high-ranking politician and his wife taking part in child smuggling and organ harvesting.
According to reports from local media outlets, the couple was stated to be guilty of bringing a young child from Nigeria into the UK so that his organs could be harvested.
The politician was identified as Nwanneka Ekweremandu and his wife was a leading educator by the name of Ike Esweremadu. The duo was recently arrested and charged for the horrifying crime and for making an intricate plan without anyone noticing.
The couple was said to be in the UK this month for a visit but little did anyone know of their evil plans.
Sources revealed how the couple is all set to appear in the Magistrates Court during the afternoon hours of Thursday and that is where their ultimate punishment would be decided.
The child is said to have been trafficked for organs but thankfully, the plan is now foiled and he is said to be in safe hands with the police.
Interestingly, the couple has 4 kids of their own. But that did not stop them from carrying out the evil deed.
It is believed the child being trafficked into the country was a young boy. The couple wished to get his organ, in particular his kidneys, so they could be transferred to their own daughter who happens to be suffering from kidney failure and requires an immediate transplant option.
It is also speculated that the police were alerted about the couple’s suspicious behavior for a month now and they’ve been on the lookout for them, ever since. Finally, the duo was arrested yesterday at Heathrow Airport.
