Meghan Markle has been slammed for referencing herself at least 54 times during the recent Young World Summit at Manchester.
According to local media reports, the Duchess was called out for being self-obsessed during her first speech in the United Kingdom, ever since her Megxit had taken place in 2020.
The duchess also mentioned herself again and again and many seated in the audience were getting tired of the referencing because they simply felt it was not needed at all.
One person even went on to add that during a seven-minute speech, she probably broke all records by behaving in such a manner. Meghan’s topic of selection was gender equality.
Meanwhile, both Harry and Meghan’s arrival was also steeped in controversy as a protester was found carrying a sign stating, ‘Fake Royal’ right where the couple’s car stopped and they made their way out.
Another source claims that the couple was also met with a fair share of ‘boos’ which they most likely heard because it was that loud. However, they chose to ignore them for obvious reasons.
But inside the Summit, the pair reportedly received a warm welcome and were given much honor for gracing the event with their attendance. The duo walked hand in hand up to the stage, where Meghan was allowed to continue.
It was also very strange for some to see her gushing about her husband, despite him seated right in front of her in the audience. She spoke about how his presence has made a life-changing impact on her life.
She even spoke about how her life has transformed after becoming a mother of two and added how glad she was to be back in the United Kingdom.
