Judge Permanently BANS Release Of Further Information Surrounding Bob Saget’s Tragic Death At His Grieving Family’s Request


A Florida judge has banned the release of autopsy records, photos, videos, and further information related to the investigation of Bob Saget’s tragic death.

Circuit Judge Vincent Chiu said during a court hearing that he would issue a ‘permanent injunction’ that had been requested by his grieving family.

While his personal effects and photos will be confidential, images of the hotel and the comedian’s room will be released, the family’s attorney said.

Surveillance footage outside his hotel room is also set to be released but any videos taken from the inside will remain confidential.

According to reports, the 65-year-old was found dead in his hotel bed at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando on January 9.

He had performed as part of a stand-up tour the previous night.

It is believed that he had suffered an accidental head injury that resulted in his death.

His 42-year-old wife, Rizzo, and his three daughters – Jennifer, 29; Lara, 32, and Aubrey, 34 – petitioned to stop the release of records about his death.

His family said in a statement on February 9: “They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep.”

According to reports, the comedian died from an accidental blow to his head.

But two days later, the chief medical examiner of Orange and Osceola counties said that he had serious skull fractures, raising speculations and questions about the previous explanation.

An autopsy revealed that he had an abrasion on his scalp, fractures around his eye sockets, a fracture at the base of his skull, bleeding between the brain and tissue around the brain, and bruises to the brain.

Toxicology results did not show any toxins or illicit drugs in his body.

During the investigation, the sheriff’s office and medical examiner’s office created graphic photos and videos of Saget’s body, and also audio recordings.

Those records are prohibited by state law from being released publicly.
