JUST IN: Jeremy Renner, 52, RETURNS Home From Hospital As He Begins A LONG Road To Recovery After Snowplow Accident


Jeremy Renner has finally returned home from the hospital to continue his long road to recovery after the snowplow accident that left him ‘worse than anyone knows’.

The 52-year-old actor also warned others to ‘be safe’ in the deep snow in Nevada.

On Monday night, the Avengers star revealed that he made it home just in time to watch the second season of The Mayor of Kingstown after he was almost crushed to death by his snowplow.

Renner wrote: “Outside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home.”

This comes a day after his friends revealed that the actor’s injuries are actually much worse than feared and that he ‘almost died’ and ‘nearly bled out’ while waiting for emergency services to arrive.

The actor seems to be eager to return to the snow at his home in Lake Tahoe.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, he shared two photos from Nevada – one a photo of a road covered in deep snow as he warned people to ‘be safe’ and another showing snow-covered rooftops along with a message saying he missed his ‘happy place.’

Renner has a long road to recovery, with friends saying it could take years before he can go back to his fighting shape.

One source told Radar Online: “It’s much worse than anyone knows. Jeremy is very aware of the fact that he almost died out there.

“The right side of Jeremy’s chest was crushed, and his upper torso had collapsed. He also had a bad head wound that was bleeding and a leg injury. Word is the damage to Jeremy’s chest was so substantial it had to be reconstructed in surgery.”
