Actress Amber Heard could soon face another major trial related to perjury, confirmed Australian Politician Barnaby Joyce.
According to him, the actress deserves to be in jail if she’s seen guilty of committing the crime that reportedly took place in 2015 while visiting the Australian nation.
Just one month back, Amber Heard was seen losing her very explosive battle with former partner Johnny Depp. And that trial took place in the public eye with many referring to it as an explosive ordeal.
At the moment, we’re hearing more reports about how there is an investigation taking place at the moment to decide whether or not the actress would be charged as previous reports spoke in detail about how Amber Heard would be allowed to go as she admitted to the crime and apologized.
But Australian politician Barnaby Joyce feels that an apology is not good enough and a crime is a crime and those who commit it must be held accountable for their actions.
What we know so far about the case is how Amber Heard reportedly visited Queensland when she was married to Johnny Depp. And that celeb had also taken her two pups with her, forgetting about the strict rules and regulations in the country.
The celeb from Rum Diary took her Yorkshire Terrier dogs named Pistol and Boo without declaring the animals at customs, which is a huge criminal offense.
That was a clear violation of Australia’s quarantine rules and those policies related to biosecurity. Moreover, the nation is believed to have a stringent 10-day rule for all pets entering Australia’s borders.
For this reason, she was slapped with charges related to unlawful smuggling of her pet dogs and was also told to face a trial in the courtroom. During that time, she pleaded guilty but her lawyer managed to convince the judge that nothing was done intentionally and the celeb had zero clue and would never do it on purpose.
Heard argued that she left all of the paperwork on Johnny Depp’s team to work through but for some weird reason, the pets’ documents had been skipped. Therefore, she was excused at that time but with the case reopening again, we’ll have to see what’s next for the Aquaman celeb.
