The jail inmates of Emma Tustin, the woman who brutally tortured and abused her stepson named Arthur, have reportedly taken revenge for her behavior against the innocent 6-year-old.
One former cellmate was quick to reveal how Emma Tustin’s meals were reportedly laced with salt as a means of gaining revenge for all the abuse she conducted on the little child, right before battering him to death.
The 32-year-old was sentenced to a period of 29 years in prison on Friday after she was found guilty of murdering her six-year-old stepson at her residence in West Midlands.
The child’s father was also sentenced to 21 years in jail after being convicted of charges relating to manslaughter and for sending one final text to his partner before the last assault, which told her to ‘just end him.’
As the Government of the United Kingdom plans to launch a major review into the case and how the little child died, a former jailmate of Tustin revealed how inmates that were housed with her laced her meals with salt to take revenge for the abuse she inflicted on Arthur.
The harrowing trial held at Coventry’s Crown Court spoke about how young Arthur was forced to consume food that was heavily filled with salt. On average, a minimum of 34 grams of salt was reportedly added to the child’s meal, hours before she pounded him to death.
The trial spoke of the shocking findings, where lab blood test reports showed how salt readings were ‘off the scale’ as he had an equivalent of six teaspoons of salt in his blood.
Further analysis of the child’s blood upon hospital admission showed sodium levels to range between 180 to 187.2 millimoles per liter while the normal levels comprised about 140 millimoles per liter.
