US Representative Jackie Walorski has reportedly passed away in a car crash in Indiana recently.
According to local media reports, Walorski was present inside the vehicle with three other people. All of the passengers have been confirmed dead by officials as two vehicles collided with one another.
The incident took place in the representative’s hometown of Indiana, authorities revealed.
The 58-year-old was stated to be riding inside her SUV, alongside her press secretary when the horrifying car crash took place. Other passengers included St. Joseph County’s Chairperson for the Republican party Zachery Potts.
Suddenly, another vehicle that happened to be coming from the opposite direction crossed her vehicle’s path and slammed right into it at Indiana State Road 19. It was outlined to be a head-on collision, as confirmed by Elkhart County Sheriff’s office recently.
Meanwhile, other sources claim Thomson and Potts had also died in the aftermath of the crash, alongside the driver of the vehicle, who was recently identified by sources as Edith Schmucker.
A heartbreaking statement was recently issued by the House Minority Leader, Kevin McCarthy. He says the top lawmaker had returned back home to be with her Lord.
He also put forward a special prayer for her and the other victims that died in the tragic accident, while asking the country to keep them all in their thoughts and prayers today.
Meanwhile, House Speaker Nanci Pelosi was also seen issuing a public message in regards to the shocking tragedy while she made her way toward Asia.
She says the Rep. had lived a life of service, whether it happened to be linked to caring for undernourished children in Romania or serving more than a decade in the House, she never felt short of fulfilling her responsibilities.
