The male prisoners reportedly used the keys sold to them by Lowe to gain access to the women’s area where they couldn’t be identified. Then, they shouted and threatened the female prisoners, saying they would hurt them if they pressed the emergency call button.

The lawsuits claim Lowe gave the male prisoners access to the women’s wing in exchange for cash.

More men then entered, groping and grabbing the victims while exposing their private areas. Some tried to hide in the dark corners.

The attack went uninterrupted for two hours, and at least two women were r*ped during the attack.

“As a direct and proximate cause of the actions of Defendants, (the female inmates) suffered horrific physical and psychological injuries,” the civil lawsuit said.

In a statement to Daily Mail, Clark County Sheriff’s Office said that the incident was a “result of the unforeseeable criminal actions of a rogue corrections officer.

“The individual in question chose to abandon his training, ethics and morals and made the unilateral decision to mortgage his career and future by allowing inmate access to the jail keys.”
