The roommate who came face to face with the suspected killer of the Idaho murders in 1992’s Buffalo attack is finally breaking her silence.
She says that she did what she thought was right at that time and is now telling the media to back off after startling new details from the case emerge.
A woman who found her college roommate nearly dead more than 30 years ago is speaking out in defense of the surviving roommate in the University of Idaho tragic murders on Monday.
The news comes as she mentioned during the early hours of Monday how no one has the right to judge her. This was when the media questioned why anyone would end up mounting so many questions in regard to an 8-hour delay while calling the cops.
“I really do think the media needs to lay off. She needs her time to heal. It’s just not fair to see someone being treated in this manner”- she went on to add.
In the same way, she explained how it was beyond horrifying to see how people were asking her terrifying questions, despite knowing what she went through. “It’s not fair!”- she explained.
Speaking during a Fox News interview on America Reports, she says that this whole case has reignited her own fears of what took place years ago.
“No one wants to go through something like that in their life. It’s just not fun and games. You really need to realize that sometimes!”- she mentioned after stating that she was in the woman’s shoes.
The suspected killer of the Idaho murders is currently in police custody but the media wants answers as to why there was such a massive delay to take help from the cops that perhaps may have saved so many lives.
