Police in South London have reportedly found a body at a park while searching for a missing 32-year-old senior nursing assistant Petra Srncova.
The Met Police have stated how the body was found in connection to an ongoing investigation relating to the sudden and mysterious disappearance of Petra Srncova.
Forensic investigators revealed how they had set up a blue tent in the park in Brunswick as a huge fleet of police officers cordoned off the area.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Met Police revealed how it is too early to come to any conclusions regarding the tragic incident and how the sudden disappearance is still being treated as unexplained.
“While we are still waiting for the formal identification, we have informed Petra’s family about the latest development,” the authorities revealed.
Srncova suddenly vanished on the 28th of November after working her regular shift at a children’s hospital near St. Thomas’s Hospital in London Bridge.
She was a senior hospital worker who hailed from Camberwell in South London and had been reported as missing by one of her colleagues, just five days after her disappearance.
After the finding of the human remains, officers were immediately called into the area shortly after 11 am on Sunday, and that’s when it was reported how children happened to stumble upon the body of a woman while playing in the outdoors.
A mother of two named Selda Kayam explained to authorities how her friend also lives here and she was the one who gave her a call regarding how her kids found the body at the park while they were playing this morning.
Another resident spoke about how they saw so many marked and unmarked vehicles belonging to the police rush to the area and cordon it off as investigations into the case continue.
