The homeless man accused of killing a woman named Christina Yuna Lee by fatally stabbing her has now been arrested and held without bail.
According to local media reports, the murderer was known to have numerous criminal offenses underneath his name but despite that, he was allowed to leave jail on bail.
And that’s when he opted to follow an advertising creative named Christina Yuna Lee all the way to her Chinatown residence in Manhattan on Sunday.
The stalker opted to creep up behind her but didn’t let her know about his presence until he entered her apartment with her, and began to brutally stab her to death.
Police claim the accused stabbed her at least 40 times before dumping her remains inside her bathtub.
When cops arrived at the scene of the crime, they found 25-year-old Assamad Nash hiding underneath the victim’s bed, covered in blood.
Today, the Manhattan Criminal Court took the abrupt decision to grant the district attorney’s request to remand the accused without any bail. The decision is definitely shocking as previously, it was revealed how the victim’s landlord had blamed the district attorney for allowing the accused to roam around freely on bail, despite his past criminal history.
Prosecutors have charged the accused for s*xually motivated burglary as they shed light on his potential motive for the harrowing crime.
In the same way, the prosecutors gave out chilling details about the incident, explaining how they found the victim named from her waist up with more than 40 stab wounds. They also stated how the killer had stab wounds on his torso as well as his numerous cuts covering his shoulder and hands too.
Meanwhile, a yellow-toned knife was located behind the dresser which is suspected to have been used for the killing.
