A family holiday came to the most tragic end for one family after a father suddenly collapsed and died at Disney World with his loved ones by his side.
According to reports by local media outlets, the dad who hailed from the United Kingdom is believed to have taken Fentanyl which caused a dramatic effect on his body and ended up with his systems shutting down rapidly.
The dad was identified as Philp Weybourne who worked as a 40-year-old IT instructor and died while making his way to the bar on Monday.
A recently held inquest heard how the dad had no underlying medical conditions and that is exactly what makes this story so much worse.
On the other hand, his toxicology reports did not come out clean. They went on to reveal that he had alarmingly fatal levels of the opioid called Fentanyl in his system. And this is the most probable cause of his tragic death.
The family comprised Philip, his wife, and his young son. Moreover, the inquest went on to mention how the victim was immediately rushed by paramedics to a nearby local hospital. It wouldn’t be wrong to mention how his condition did end up deteriorating so quickly. Hence, that was the point that medical experts revealed to his family that he wouldn’t be able to make it out alive.
It was only after his blood test after his death that doctors came to know of the alarming and elevated Fentanyl levels. For those people who may not be aware, fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid that’s very similar to morphine.
And experts believe that only two milligrams are needed to prove its fatal consequences.
Alarming reports showed how this drug has been responsible for causing the deaths of nearly one million people in the US since the year 1999.
