One of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s biggest allies was recently caught holding his head in his hands as a car bomb meant for him blew up his daughter.
The victim was identified as the daughter of Putin’s closest aides and also one of the masterminds behind the Ukrainian war. She was reportedly blown up to pieces in Moscow yesterday, sources confirmed.
Darya Dugin was assassinated in the attack that was initially scheduled to target her dad, who many even dubbed to be the Russian leader’s brain.
Darya was reportedly behind the wheel while driving back from a festival. But then all of a sudden, her vehicle exploded on the road on the outskirts of the city.
Other reports confirmed how her dad was supposed to be accompanying her inside the car but due to some last-minute changes, he switched vehicles and went in another car, leaving her alone.
Her 60-year-old father named Alexander Dugin is a sanctioned Russian nationalist. He was pictured holding his head in absolute fear and grief over the incident after finding out his daughter was dead in an incident meant to take his life.
Shocking footage of the incident showed his daughter’s Land Cruiser Prado covered in flames and parked at the roadside. There was a firetruck and plenty of paramedics standing nearby.
The tragedy was soon confirmed by authorities as a hit gone wrong, as the target was not Darya but her dad instead. Moreover, Russian top aides also went as far as accusing Ukrainian terrorists of blowing up the vehicle and the victim inside.
While Alexander is not outlined to have any form of a role in the current Russian government, he is notoriously famed for being Putin’s guru and leading adviser. He was also known to have had a very heavy influence on him as well.
