Terrifying and tragic reports are revealing some devastating details about the case regarding the missing hillwalker and his pet dog.
Yesterday, loved ones were informed by the rescuers how they had stumbled upon the remains of a dog and another male. But they were yet to confirm if they belonged to the 33-year-old hillwalker that went missing a week ago.
Now, the rescuers fear that the hillwalker may have died after plunging down to the ground by nearly 100 feet. And that could have to do with the dire freezing low temperatures.
Sources further elaborated on how it would have been too cold for his pet beagle to walk and so he probably held him with one hand while hiking with the other.
This potentially resulted in a case of him being imbalanced intensely and hence falling back down to the ground.
Experts further added how the clues they’ve retrieved so far did not appear to be of those linked to any foul act or behavior of another party. And hence, the signs pointing so far could be these.
The family was heartbroken when the remains of 33-year-old Kyle Sambrook were found and his pet beagle in Glencoe. It was definitely a little terrifying for many to know that he died protecting his pet because he loved him very much.
The hiker who hailed from West Yorkshire was found in a gully in Glencoe. And the identities of both animal and human were confirmed after a forensic examination of the duo was completed today.
The rescuers taking part in the investigation were praised for their quick relief efforts and for cracking the mystery so soon. They appreciated the acknowledgment but claim this was not the outcome that they were hoping for.
