A man from Texas has shocked the world after doing the unthinkable.
According to reports from local media outlets, the Texan citizen reportedly left people in absolute shock and bewilderment after filing for divorce against his wife and even signing her document without her knowledge.
He did that by simply forging her signature, leaving her absolutely dumbfounded for days.
Somehow, he did manage to get through such a legal process and even ended up getting a divorce through a court of law. And it’s just a bizarre story, to begin with, explained reports.
51-year-old Paul Nixon says he’s been on a mission to get rid of his wife for a long time coming. And that’s why he came up with his so-called mastermind plan to do just that.
The strange idea was recently detailed in court by him after the judge asked what exactly was going through his mind during that time. Also, he was questioned about whether or not he actually thought that no one would end up finding out.
Nixon showed up to the court with all the right documentation that would do a decent job at fulfilling the legal requirements in store. Not only did he force the signature but he also ended up putting his wife’s signs on several pages.
In case that was not enough, he went about faking a notary’s approval and received the final divorce decree.
The paperwork was reportedly filed on February 15 and that’s just one-day post-Valentine’s Day.
One police officer involved in the case detailed to The New York Post recently how this was definitely something very rare. They had not come across anything of the sort in a really long time.
