Singer Sam Smith was feeling the heat as the celeb stepped out in New York City recently.
The star was heckled by countless members of the public who still held a grudge against him for a performance at the Grammys. Many shouted vile slogans against the star including how they belonged in jail for delivering such a demonic performance.
As you can imagine, the fury was intense as most of the people gathered against the star were middle-aged females that found it wrong that the star was able to perform such a song in front of millions around the globe with no checks and balances on what they were doing.
Sam Smith lit the stage of fire with an explosive performance on the hit track Unholy. They were even dressed like the devil in bright red and so were the stage effects, making it look exactly like they were promoting demonic behavior.
Many felt offended by the star’s performance, comparing it to the evil works of the devil, and called the performer out for such actions.
Meanwhile, celebs like billionaire Elon Musk even felt that the star went a little overboard and questioned on Twitter if that was the devil then we surely didn’t have a lot to worry about.
But this group of people was not as forgiving as many others and took the star’s performance to heart. “You belong in the hellfire, you are disgusting. Shame on you!”- were just some of the many slogans mentioned against the celeb.
The video clip featuring the star walking unbothered and not giving any reaction to those shouting his name has since gone viral. They appear to be making an entrance into the Central Park Zoo.
Smith came out as non-binary and since then refers to themself as they/them.
