A mother from Las Vegas is going viral after thanking her lucky stars for blessing her with genital herpes.
The mother named Alexandra Harbushka says this condition was written as a part of her destiny and it really turned her life around.
The 39-year-old says she’s a true believer in whatever happens, happens for a reason, and in this case, the s*xual transmitted disease that she caught in 2011 really opened her eyes and made her transform her world.
“I caught it years ago when I happened to be dating someone else. At that time, my life was a mess. I was living with my parents and even struggled to cope with my drinking habits. I was even binge heating and had a poor financial situation as well”- she revealed.
But the mom of one never felt sorry for herself. Instead, she took it as a sign to alter her life and make wiser choices. And till today, she couldn’t be more grateful for the way things turned out.
Today, the mother of one is loving her life, eating healthy, and indulging in productive activities. At the same time, she is actually looking after herself which was beyond rare in the past.
“I don’t eat junk or consume alcohol anymore. My life is fantastic”- she started to explain. Calling her diagnosis a true blessing in every sense of the matter, Alexandra says it really forced her to get her s*it together.
“God knew I was in trouble and that’s why he gave me this so I could think twice about what I wanted to do with my life”- she added.
