A teenager from Turkey left the world in tears after filming an emotional goodbye video from underneath earthquake rubble.
Sources from local media outlets were quick to speak about how the video went viral after its release, capturing the hearts of millions located in Turkey and around the globe.
The teen was caught making a series of emotional statements including how death comes at a time when people least expect it. The video was undoubtedly emotional and while the footage appeared like it was going to end on a low, just hours later, a miracle happened.
He was pulled out alive, leaving his loved ones stunned and jumping with joy and relief.
The young man was identified as 17-year-old Taha Erdem whose family had fallen fast asleep when the earthquake jolted the nation.
He was stuck beneath the rubble for 12 days straight with little hope of survival.
But little did he know that he wouldn’t be left to die as emergency teams rushed to be by his side and carry out a rescue operation that would lead to his safe recovery.Turkey and Syria’s devastating earthquake has left thousands dead and even more displaced as rescue teams race against the clock to locate more survivors.

This teenager was the only one amongst his family members to be stuck under the rubble for so long.
The rest had been rescued but due to powerful aftershocks, he was buried even further below and that left him with zero hopes of survival.But thankfully, he was finally rescued yesterday, having tears in his eyes after finally being able to see the world after being trapped for 12 days straight.
