A model was reportedly killed by her mentally sick boyfriend as horrifying details surrounding the case emerge.
According to local media outlets, the victim was identified as Christina Rowe who died at the hands of a man that she loved the most.
Now, her family is grieving her loss by recalling the exact moment when they had reportedly warned her about his startling behavior but she refused to take their opinions into consideration.
“We always warned her about him. He was not well mentally and we saw so many alarming signs in him but she didn’t listen”- the devastated family revealed.
The suspect has been identified as Charles Byrne who is said to have been a paranoid patient suffering from schizophrenia.
Investigators following the case have revealed some of the most heartbreaking details about the case that has left many stunned. This included the motive for the murder and how the suspect disposed of the victim’s dead body.
The suspect who was also Christina’s boyfriend killed her and then decided to dump her body in a river. And if those details weren’t haunting enough, sources also revealed the real motive behind the death.
“He suffered from a paranoid delusion. He thought she was red-skinned male p*dophile”- the statement in the courtroom read.
After murdering his girlfriend, he tried to take her daughter’s life too.
He not only strangled her but also smashed her head on the floor, not once but several times. And while the child lay in an unconscious state, he tried to bury the model’s remains inside a giant suitcase, and then quickly put the suitcase inside his mom’s car.
The final resting place of the suitcase was the River Severn, which was stated to be located near a landmark called the Diglis Bridge.
