A young mother has reportedly taken her own life on Christmas day, after dropping off her beautiful child.
According to local media reports, tributes have begun to pour in for 26-year-old Laura Graham who is known to have taken her own life due to her own life’s struggles.
The 26-year-old who worked at Greggs in Seacroft had been suffering from major bouts of depression that had been linked to her medical condition of epilepsy, confirmed one report.
After leaving her child at her own mother’s house on Christmas Day, Laura decided to return back to her own residence. And that’s when she took her own life.
Her 48-year-old mother named Debbie Graham says that her daughter left the 10-month-old child named Elise with her on Christmas Day, right before heading out to her residence in Leeds around 9 pm in the night.
But her mother says she felt that something was just not right because she continued to call her daughter on her phone but there was no answer on the morning of Boxing day. That is when Debbie grew increasingly concerned about her child’s safety because this was very unusual behavior coming from someone like her.
On that note, Debbie opted to break into her daughter’s home with assistance from the neighbors. And when she did, she was shocked and numb with grief after seeing the tragic scenes in front of her.
“I was horrified to see my daughter’s dead body in front of me,” Debbie cried.
The mother says she is very shocked at the entire scenario as she was not expecting something like this to occur. “It’s just all very shocking and my mind is in a complete blur,” she went on to add.
The mother shed light on her daughter’s depression due to epilepsy and due to her fits, she was constantly under a lot of stress. But little did anyone know that she would take her own life, in the end.
