JUST IN: Amber Heard’s Legal Team Told Jury That They Will Be An ‘Accomplice’ To Depp’s ‘Campaign Of Global Humiliation’ If They Side With Him

In closing arguments, Amber Heard’s attorneys told the jury to ‘think about the message’ Johnny Depp and his legal team are sending every victim of domestic violence.

The Aquaman star’s lawyer Benjamin Rottenborn took the floor on Friday and said: “If you didn’t take pictures it didn’t’ happen. If you did take pictures they’re fake.

“If you didn’t tell your friends they’re lying. If you did tell your friends they’re part of the hoax.”

Rottenborn continued: “Failure to seek medical attention meant you were not injured. If you do seek medical treatment then you’re crazy and if you do everything to help your spouse rid himself of drugs and drink then ‘you’re a nag.”

He also said that when you’ve decided that enough is enough, you’re a gold digger if you try to leave and save yourself.

“That’s the message Mr. Depp is asking you to send.”

Heard’s attorney also said that the ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ star will do everything to destroy life and career, adding that the actor will not take responsibility for his actions.

Elaine Bredehoft, Heard’s other lawyer, asked the jury to “finally hold this man responsible.”

“He’s never accepted responsibility for anything in his life,” she said, adding the actor should fairly compensate Amber for what he did.

“We don’t want another lawsuit. We want to leave Amber alone and get on with her life,” she added.

Bredehoft also said that the actress testified the case has ‘destroyed her life, it has consumed her.’

“They were threatening to put her daughter in a microwave for god’s sake. She can’t get away from this. As she said, I’m a human being, no human being should be put through this,” Bredehoft added.

Heard’s lawyer also said that when Depp sued Amber for $50 million, the actress ‘sent a message’ by suing him for $100 million.

Even though they weren’t expecting to receive the full amount, they wanted the jury to “fully and fairly compensate Amber.”

Rotternborn also said that if the jury believes what Heard wrote in her op-ed for the Washington Post in 2018 is true, then that is the end of the case.
