64-year-old actor Alec Baldwin is shedding light on why he and his wife have so many children.
The star finally sat down for an exclusive interview and that’s also where he addressed the matter of his growing family.
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin reportedly were a family of 8 and that meant they had six children. While the couple thought they were done with expanding their family, well, that’s not the case here.
The couple was shocked to find out that one last one would be joining them. Yes, Hilaria was pregnant again and the couple couldn’t be more grateful.
Although they did receive plenty of scrutiny from fans and followers who felt they were expanding the already growing population.
The 64-year-old actor mentioned how it’s been a rough past one year. With the shooting incident and so many reports of nothing but devastation, they really needed a break from it all.
Hence, seeing that a new family was on the way and it was a little girl, the couple just began counting their blessings and felt this is what they needed exactly.
When his wife opted to update her Instagram account with a new status regarding the news of the baby, she was met with great criticism. People felt it was just not cool to keep on having babies.
Instead, they started to advise the family to engage in family planning and birth control.
And then when it was time for the child’s arrival, she was slammed for pretended like she had some Latin roots and for naming the child in that manner too.
For this couple, the children are the light and love of their home. They feel incomplete whenever even one of them is missing because that’s just how beautiful the bond between each of them has become.
