The Lancashire Police is all set to be probed on how they handled the case of the missing mother of two, Nicola Bulley.
According to reports from local media outlets, the cops will be questioned on several important events that arose while investigating the victim’s whereabouts after she vanished in thin air while walking her dog.
This includes the release of her personal details when the case was at its crucial point of investigation. At the same time, they would be probed about the welfare check that was conducted just days before she disappeared.
The mortgage advisor was found dead inside a river, two days ago after two witnesses informed the police about the devastating revelation that led to a forensic examination through which Nicola Bulley was identified. Furthermore, it was revealed how her dental records are what was matched to ensure the identity was the same, leaving the family shattered and in a state of absolute grief.
The news left so many hearts in complete sadness as there was a slight hope that she might be found alive. But the series of events that occurred in the case has many people thinking that a probe was required to see how and why it took the authorities so long to retrieve her body, despite the fact that they were in the area for so long.
The request for the probe has come forward by the Lancashire Crime Commissioner who says it is about time the family and public get answers to so many unanswered questions.
“It’s just so tragic how the case was handled and we need to know what went wrong and where the shortcoming was, to begin with”- he continued.
