More terrifying reports are coming in about the Uvalde school shooter and where he made the deadly purchase of guns that were used in the horror killings.
According to local media reports, the police have gone on to reveal how the suspect bought rifles from a store that had already sold more than 10,000 ammunition rounds to another smuggler. And his intention was to transport that across the border toward a carter located in Mexico.
The news has raised a major alarm amongst authorities who claim how important it has now become for gun control legislation to come into play to avoid such tragedies in the future.
The suspect named Salvador Ramos is said to have made an online order through the gun seller that’s located in Georgia. Moreover, the store’s name was identified to be Daniel Defense.
The teenager bought the AR-15 designed rifle as well as a DDM4 rifle as gifts for himself in honor of his 18 birthday which meant he was legal to make such purchases. But little did anyone know that these weapons would be used to kill innocent children and their two teachers via a massacre at an elementary school.
The DDM4 weapon was the one used to murder the children and teachers as mentioned by cops.
It is believed that a man by the name of Fred Farhat had bought the ammunition and then smuggled it across Mexico where weapons control is considerably stricter than in the US.
Farhat is believed to have cashed out $6,000 to make the huge purchase so that it could be smuggled out to Mexico. He then chose to carry the ammunition for business purposes and then decided to repackage that and load it into a van.
