For many people, getting married and having kids is one of the key factors that lead to a successful life.
But for one young woman, that’s far from her goals. According to her, kids are a nuisance and now that she has gotten sterilized, she’s not afraid of being child-free for the rest of her life.
In fact, she’s happy and has zero regrets as that’s not the direction she ever wanted to go in anyways.
24-year-old Abby Ramsey mentioned that a lot of the women in her surrounding are married or having babies and it now appears that it’s become a part of their life goals. But for her, it’s just not like that. She is happy the way she is and while most people would regret getting sterilized, she’s got nothing to worry about.
For those who may not be aware of the concept of sterilization, well, it has to do with the fact that a woman may never be able to fall pregnant again after the procedure.
Speaking to Daily Star for her recent interview, this young woman adds that she’s more than relieved with the news. And does not seem to be worried at all.
The reason why she took such a bold step is that her experience related to birth control was never too great. Hence, she didn’t want to be in a position where she was forced to consider carrying a baby. Therefore, she opted for the drastic measure and has no regrets so far.
But netizens disagree and feel she may have gone in the wrong direction. Getting sterilized means never falling pregnant again and the fact that she is so young and has her whole life ahead of her means she might have a change of heart some day.
