Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a 10-year-old autistic girl who reportedly took her own life after being bullied at school.
According to local media reports, the tragic incident took place at Utah’s school district where the victim was identified as Izzy Tichenor.
Her bullies are said to have driven her to the point of committing s*icide in November of 2021.
Sources spoke about how the young child became so sick of her own life that she didn’t know what to do.
Whenever she told her mom and cried, all she got in return were ignored and no physical activity. And in the end, she had no choice but to take her own life.
Some of the comments were made by both her classmates as well as the teacher regarding how her clothes smelled like Febreeze.
And just in case that was not enough, after her death, staff members at the school are said to have denied the allegations made against them. The administration and staff from Foxboro’s Elementary School revealed how they had no clue about the formal definition of the term bullying.
Another report went as far as mentioning how it was impossible to judge whether or not she was the subject of racism. But other experts felt this was not the first time that racism against Black and Asians had been recorded in the same school district.
Not only did the mother fail to deal with her daughter’s situation, but investigations shed light on how the school admin also didn’t act appropriately.
“If due action was taken at the right time and place, we could have had the innocent child with us today, instead of leaving her alone to deal with the issue”- the investigators following the case continued.
