Horrifying footage released by the police in London has shown a young girl being snatched off the streets as she waits at a bus stop.
According to local media outlets, the innocent victim was snatched while waiting for her bus to arrive so she could go back home after school. But all of a sudden, an unidentified man takes her away and physically assaults her while holding a knife.
Authorities claim the young victim had been followed by the attacker while she was going home in Finchley in North London, at about 4 pm in the afternoon.
Today, the Metropolitan Police released CCTV images of the man that they would like to speak to, in possible connection to the incident of the assault.
As numerous passengers boarded the different buses, the young victim can be seen standing alone and isolated, making it easy for the attacker to come forward and take her away.
At the start, the suspect tries to engage with her in a conversation and then starts to speak to her about a number of buses to keep her mind distracted from the heinous crime that he was just about to carry out.
Soon, the individual asks her to go to the park but the girl immediately refuses. And that’s when he grabs her wrists and begins to pull her away from the bus stop and then into the park, explaining not to make any noise as he was carrying a knife.
The man is being described as an individual belonging to the 30 to 40 age group, with a physical description comprising of pale skin, brown eyes, and messy shoulder-length hair. In the same way, his attire was noted as blue jeans and black trainers.
Soon, he led the victim down to a canal and behind the tree where he carried out the horrifying crime. Right after that, police claim he took her phone, grabbed her by the wrist, and kissed her before leaving.
