A 10-year-old girl reportedly passed away in a village after being shot dead by a group of drunk Russian soldiers.
According to local media reports, the victim was identified as 10-year-old Anastasia Stoluk who died in her village called Shybene, on February 28.
Russian troops went ballistic and began to shoot in all directions after one Ukrainian teenager began to fire shots in the air.
Meanwhile, the victim’s adoptive mother has gone on to reveal how she had looted stores and even got drunk, moments before the incident unfolded.
While the victim’s uncle had been quickly transported to the hospital after the incident as bullets hit him too, there is yet to be any confirmed news regarding his situation at the moment.
One witness shed light on how the soldiers just randomly blasted out at people’s houses in the village near Kyiv.
The victim died on the spot and was then buried in her own home’s backyard as her own mom was barred from visiting the cemetery to dig her grave.
Eyewitnesses said that the men first got drunk and started to loot every store that they could come across. Soon after that, they began to fire away, with no care in the world. Unfortunately, this young child came in their way and died in front of her own uncle.
The village is reported to be just 40 miles away from the capital city of Kyiv.
Moreover, the news of this tragedy comes moments after another 18-month-old child was wounded with critical injuries by Russians carrying out intense shelling in Mariupol on Saturday.
Soon after that, his parents began to mourn with his lifeless body as he had succumbed to his injuries and passed away in the city that was under siege at that time.
