A 5-year-old girl screamed ‘but I’ve been good’ as her own mother strangled and stabbed her to death.
Nichole from Texas is seen smiling in heartbreaking photos from before she was killed by her mother Melissa Towne, 37.
This comes after the mother went to a hospital with her daughter in the car’s passenger seat.
According to reports, the little girl was wrapped in a laundry mesh bag and had bruising on her face and neck.
Her throat had also been cut with a knife similar to the weapon discovered in Melissa’s pocket.
The 37-year-old admitted to murdering her daughter, who she believed was ‘evil.’
She also said that she ‘did not want to deal with her anymore’ and decided to end her life.
When questioned, Melissa told police that her daughter pleaded ‘but I’ve been good’ while she strangled her but she ignored Nichole’s pleas.
Documents detailed how the mother drove her daughter to the woods where she brutally slit her throat.
But when she did not die, Melissa put a plastic bag around her head then strangled her. She then drove to a hospital in Tomball with the girl’s lifeless body.
Melissa entered the hospital and called for help, telling medics her child was in the car.
A nurse walked outside to the woman’s car where she saw Nichole inside, her head wrapped in plastic.
Melissa’s bond was set at $15 million. It is not clear why the girl was with her as she didn’t have legal custody of her.
She was three other children who are all ‘safe and accounted for.’
