The grieving mother of a 10-year-old girl who was found dead at their home has spoken out.
Sara Sharif was reportedly killed at her family’s home in Horsell in the UK on Thursday morning. Manhunt continues for the three suspects who fled the country.
Her mother, Olga, says she cannot believe her ‘beautiful’ daughter is gone and that “life will never be the same again” after the young girl was murdered.
Olga has claimed that her ex-husband Urfan Sharif had been given sole custody of Sara by a court but explained that she and her daughter continued their bond.
Speaking to The Sun, the grieving mother said: “Sara was an amazing child. here is nothing I can do that can bring her back to life, so I have to only remember the good times with her now. Life is really hard. It’s just not fair.”
She also claimed that she had only been allowed to see Sara twice since the lost custody in 2019.
“I couldn’t see my daughter for four years, and now she is dead. She’s only a kid, she had done nothing wrong,” she told the news outlet.
Olga said that she used to receive photos of her children but in 2021, she claimed that she was cut off after a fight with Urfan’s new partner.
She also alleged that she only learned of her daughter’s passing after receiving a call from police.
According to reports, a manhunt continues for three people who fled the UK – a day before Sara’s body was found.
Heartfelt tributes poured in for Sarah, with notes and flowers left outside their home. One message read: “Sweet girl. I’m sorry that your sparkle was put out too soon. Rest in peace.”
