A two-year-old girl who was reported missing in east London has been found dead in a garden.
According to local media reports, the young child’s remains were located inside a builder’s bucket which neighbors happened to stumble upon.
While the young toddler has not been identified by the authorities, she was reported as missing from her residence in Dagenham on Saturday during the afternoon hours.
Cops rushed to the scene of the crime and quickly cordoned off the area as they began to search for her.
But desperate the great search attempts during the hunt and around 30 officers taking part, they just couldn’t locate the missing child.
Soon afterward, the tragic discovery was made by neighbors at the backside of a home where she was reportedly located inside a black-colored builder’s bucket by one police dog.
Despite the great attempts by the police and paramedics teams to revive and save the young child, she just couldn’t survive and was declared dead at the scene.
Now, the young child’s death is being treated as a mysterious crime but there are reports on how one neighbor stated to the police how the child had reportedly died by drowning.
The grieving family could be seen crying today as they boldly declared how now is definitely not the time that they would like to comment on the tragic incident that has left their family shattered forever.
One 44-year-old neighbor named Shorifa Begum stated how she lived right next door to the property where the discovery was made. “On Sunday, I visited their residence and was worried. I asked them if they had found the little girl but that’s when the family told her that she had died and even told her to come in and see,” the neighbor explained.
At the moment, investigations into the tragedy continue as loved ones share their utter heartbreak on losing the youngest member of their family.
