Terrifying reports have confirmed the death of a four-year-old child from Louisiana who passed away after being forced to drink half a bottle of whiskey.
Reports revealed how China Record passed away on Thursday after being four times above the adult alcohol limit because her grandma made her drink half a bottle of whisky.
Shockingly, the incident happened in front of the child’s mother who failed to intervene and watched her child’s brutal mother before her own eyes.
The grandmother was identified as 53-year-old Roxanne Record who appeared enraged after assuming the child had taken a sip from her bottle. Therefore, to punish her, she allegedly made her drink half of the remaining bottle, leading to her instant death.
The whiskey was said to be a Canadian Mist variant but the thought of forcing a child to drink that much alcohol was beyond outrageous.
The 28-year-old mother named Kadijah Record stood by silently, watching the gran conduct the unthinkable. Moreover, the fact that she failed to intervene in the matter, despite knowing the situation, is really something alarming and was raised by authorities too.
Police reports confirmed how the child’s alcohol levels shot up instantly, reaching eight times the limit designated for adults when she died.
Both mother and grandmother have been named as the main suspects in the case and have now been charged with first-degree murder in regards to the horrifying crime.
Each of them was booked into Baton Rouge prison today, moments after the death of the child had taken place.
The police in the district of Louisiana claim they rushed ot the scene after reports about an unresponsive child came in. Upon arrival, they heard from the victim’s siblings how the granny was upset that she took a sip from the bottle and hence she punished her this way.
