Terrifying reports are coming in from Russia where Putin was seen taking revenge after ordering a mega-rocket strike in the city of Zaporizhzhia today.

The target was stated to be a residential apartment building and that’s exactly where the heavy-duty artillery was seen slamming, one after another.

This city is situated in the heart of Ukraine and the matter took place during both the night and morning hours.

According to local media outlets, around two people were declared dead and about five people were trapped. The victims also included a young 5-year-old child, sources confirmed.

Terrifying images of the incident showcased firefighters rushing to the scene with other emergency personnel to go ahead and extinguish the mighty blaze.

This was stated to have occurred due to a huge blast that ensued when the rockets slammed in. Thankfully, a lot of residents were seen being pulled to safety but many fear this is just the start of the ongoing escalation of the war.

The news comes after a Russian tank and a group of soldiers was seen surrendering to Ukrainian forces and they were filmed on video.

Sources have confirmed that the residential blocks were bombarded with rockets at a time that really took many people by surprise. They were sleeping inside, including women and children.

But the fact that so many of them ended up getting buried inside the building’s rubble was the least of Russia’s concerns.

Critics feel the message being sent out by Vladimir Putin is very strong and it’s a warning of what disasters could be set up in the near future.

All in all, the news has been called out as alarming as many fear that the worst is yet to come after a long break in the current invasion that has been taking place since the month of February.
