For one couple, age is clearly just a number and despite the great amount of criticism they receive from trolls across the board, they’re still going strong.
Just the thought of 53 years is a lot to comprehend but 77-year-old Almeda and her 23-year-old partner Gary are proving to the world that love conquers all and its feelings over everything.
As bizarre as it may sound, the couple actually met at Almeda’s son’s funeral and they claim it was an instant attraction.
Sparks flew, they hung out, and within two weeks, they were engaged. Moreover, the couple who hails from Tennessee says marriage was always on the cards and now that it has been six years since they’ve tied the knot, they simply couldn’t be happier.
“I didn’t even speak to Gary but all it took was one glance to realize that for me, he was the one. He was perfect, stylish, kind, and loving. To put it simply, he was everything I have always longed for in a man”- she explained.
Gary is said to be a year younger than his wife’s grandsons. Moreover, he added how trolls shouldn’t judge him on his age because he’s very mature by nature and is well capable to take care of his 77-year-old wife.
At first, the couple faced so much skepticism and criticism across the board as many felt that their marriage would not last too long. But now, they’re celebrating six beautiful years together and can’t imagine a day without one another.
Moreover, the couple says that they have the blessing of their parents and grandparents and that’s all that matters to them. People’s opinions can get really harsh for the couple sometimes, but they try their best not to let it get in between their relationship.
And speaking of their intimacy, the couple says it could have never been better. They enjoy sharing their lives’ beautiful moments each day and with their followers on TikTok who can’t get enough.
