A former cop from the New York Police Department has accused her boss of assaulting her on a routine basis.
According to local media reports, the retired cops broke her silence on how the horrifying incidents took place at the renowned Yankee Stadium and happened on every game night for one whole year.
The news comes in the form of a mega lawsuit while the cop named Gillian Roberts spoke about how Captain Jeffrey Brienza who happened to be her boss at the 44th Precinct, even altered her schedule to make sure he would get enough time with her.
This shocking information was all mentioned in the recent lawsuit that has been filed at the Bronx Supreme Court.
The victim has gone on to claim that whenever she tried to deny the advances she made towards her or even as she avoided, he always behaved in a hostile manner and tried to leverage his power and position over her.
This includes showing hostility in a very public manner while assigning her undesirable posts as well.
The overall matter into a very grave situation where the cop always felt that she was no longer present to perform her duties as a police officer but to reportedly perform duties related to ‘unconsented s*x’ towards her captain.
Meanwhile, information about Gillian Roberts revealed how she has served as a cop since the year 1998 and is now threatening to seek damages worth nearly $35 million.
At the moment, Brienza has been stated at the 25th precinct, as revealed by several databases online.
Roberts served in the police force in Long Island City as well as Queens for nearly 20 years and that’s right before she was transferred to the Yankee Stadium in the year 2020.
The court papers concluded how the officer was a black woman who felt very uncomfortable with the circumstances that she was forced to deal with and simply had no recourse.
