Devastating reports have gone on to confirm the death of a heartbroken father who passed away right after his own daughter’s funeral.
Sources claim his daughter had fallen to her death and if that was not tragic enough, he passed away moments later after suffering a shock.
His daughter happened to be a care home assistant who reportedly fell to her death from a nightclub’s fire escape. She was only 23 in age and her name was Katie Davenport.
The tragic accident took place from a balcony in Southport, Merseyside. Clearly, the incident was a huge shock for so many people in this family but it was just too much pain for her loved ones to bear.
The inquest into her death revealed how her dad was the most affected by her loss. The duo shared the most loveable bond of them all.
More tragic details about her death showed how the young woman got into an altercation with some of her colleagues on that same day. And that is what may have contributed to the incident taking place in the first place.
The 23-year-old is said to have suffered from the most tragic injuries to her head. She was rushed on an emergency basis to a nearby local hospital and that is where she reportedly underwent brain surgery.
Unfortunately, despite the doctor’s efforts to save her life, she soon passed away in the end.
But on the day of her funeral, the family suffered from another devastating blow after their respective father underwent an epileptic fit. He reportedly passed away on October 14, leaving the family shocked and numb with grief due to the sudden death of not one but two family members.
