BREAKING: Fox News Reporter SHOT In Ukraine


A Fox News journalist was reportedly shot and severely wounded near Kyiv in Ukraine.

Benjamin Hall is an American reporter who has joined Fox News back in 2015. His bio reveals that he currently works as a State Department correspondent based in Washington, DC.

For years, the war correspondent covered a variety of conflicts including those in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Syria, and now Ukraine.

It has now come to light that the reporter was shot and severely wounded near Kyiv on Monday. While details about his condition remain unknown, it has since been confirmed that Hall was hospitalized.

“This is news that we hate to pass along to you, but it’s obviously what happens sometimes in the middle of a conflict,” Fox News reporter John Roberts announced in a live broadcast.

“A Fox news journalist has been injured while newsgathering outside of Kiev, very few details but teams on the ground are working as hard as they can to try to gather more information.

“A reminder of course that this is in a warzone, that information changes very quickly. We are working as hard as possible to get the best information that we possibly can and get all of the details on what has happened.”

The information was later also confirmed by Suzanne Scott, the Fox News chief executive, who sent the following memo to the staff:

“We have a minimal level of details right now, but Ben is hospitalized and our teams on the ground are working to gather additional information as the situation quickly unfolds.

“The safety of our entire our entire team of journalists in Ukraine and the surrounding regions is our top priority and of the utmost importance.

“This is a stark reminder for all journalists who are putting their lives on the line every day to deliver the news from a war zone.”

The news was later on Monday also confirmed by Department of Defense Press Secretary John Kirby who revealed that Hall was being treated for his injuries during a news briefing.
