A young girl who bravely fought against two deadly cancers in the most remarkable manner is now given some more terrifying news on Christmas day.
Little Uma may be just a toddler but she’s been through so much agonizing pain that most adults couldn’t even imagine.
In the year 2020, 4-year-old Uma was diagnosed with scary cancer called acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Despite responding so well during the treatment, she tragically developed another form of cancer in the mother of May.
Her parents who are Italian immigrants claim it was really hard for them to cover their child’s expenses at that time. And now, during Christmas week, they’re hit with even more bad news.
The family says this new tumor is even more aggressive in nature than those of the past and it’s Christmas week now so getting to hear about something like this is just heartbreaking for her, for obvious reasons.
They claim they’ve been blessed with such kind-hearted individuals who are willing to pay or give money for their daughter’s treatment because, without their help, it would have been awfully hard, they concluded.
Those funds have allowed the child to undergo procedures like bone marrow transplants. Similarly, they’ve allowed her to lead a life that is a tad bit close to being normal, although the couple realizes that normalcy at this stage is near impossible.
The couple who hails from Italy is living in the Australian country on working visas. Life has not been easy for them but the kindness of Australian citizens has won their hearts in more ways than one.
They continued to mention that nothing could be worse than having a child that’s declared cancer free and then hearing that they’re struck with the same disease, all over again.
