Tragic reports have confirmed how a foster mother was recently found guilty of brutally murdering a one-year-old child that she was moments away from adopting.
According to local media reports, the suspect was identified as 38-year-old Laura Castle who says she lost it when the adorable 13-month-old child began to cry. And on that note, she admitted to shaking the baby so severely that his tiny body just couldn’t handle it and in the end, he died tragically.
The victim was identified as little Leiland-James Corkhill. The incident took place just five months after the innocent child had been put under her care.
Laura Castle was a former care worker and that news surprised plenty of people who just couldn’t believe what they were hearing or seeing.
Last year, the foster mom seemed more than excited to adopt the child and even mentioned how much she adored working and taking care of babies his age. But her words certainly did not line up with her awful intentions, where the young child was found dead after she couldn’t handle his crying.
Castle even called the child a whine bag whenever he began to cry and the court also heard how she used a number of other foul language terms like ‘d*ckhead’ while describing the child.
Interestingly, the foster mom has reportedly claimed full responsibility for the toddler’s death. However, she denies all claims relating to the murder of the child. In the same way, she has also been proven guilty of inflicting horrifying forms of abuse on the victim because she just couldn’t take his crying and whining.
The young child died of terrifying injuries to his brain that took place as a result of vigorous shaking. After the trial held at Preston’s crown court, it has been decided that the foster mom will be sentenced on May 25.
