Former wrestler and CEO of WWE Vince McMahon has been accused of abusing a female referee in his limo.
According to reports from local media outlets, the WWE CEO feared that he would be punished for the crime that reportedly took place in 1986. Therefore, he is said to have kept it a secret for years, not realizing that it would come back to haunt him, so much later.
The referee was believed to have approached the CEO for a meeting regarding her career but little did she know that it would end up having severe consequences in the form of her being r*ped and forced onto him, inside his car.
The victim was outlined to be the WWE’s first-ever female referee. Moreover, she was even promised a staggering salary of $500,000 per year.
Now, the victim is opening up about how poorly she was treated by the CEO, including how he stopped giving her jobs in the ring too. And that made her career worse with time.
Chatterton was said to have gone public with her accusations in the year 1992 when she made an appearance on TV but the allegations were blatantly denied by the CEO and she was even sued, later on.
Now, another ex-wrestler named Leonard Inzitari who was stated to be friends with the referee during that period is opening up about the startling affair, coming forward and stating how all of it was true.
“McMahon kept quiet for so long. He knew it would drastically affect his career and he did not want that at all. he was silent for decades in fear of the great power that the McMahon family had”- she continued.
At the moment, McMahon has been replaced by his daughter as CEO while a board has been set up to investigate the incident and whether or not he continued to pay so many females ‘hush money’ so they could keep their mouths shut.
