The forensic diver who led the Nicola Bulley search during the start of the investigation is finally breaking his silence after a body was retrieved from the river yesterday.
According to reports from local media outlets, the lead diver says that he and his team had searched the entire river and they were sure that there wasn’t anything inside. But that has left a huge question mark in the minds of many.
This conflicts with the news of yesterday, where two witnesses informed the police after seeing a body inside the river, causing police and investigators to rush to the scene.
But then it was later revealed by him that the equipment they were using for the search may have been high-tech in nature but it lacked the ability to search reeds. And the police did confirm yesterday how the body was found in the reeds.
The Lancashire Police did reveal how they couldn’t confirm the identity of the body until and unless a complete forensic investigation did not take place.
For now, that is still going on but the family has been informed that a body was retrieved in the river at St. Micheals, which is exactly where the missing mother of two disappeared.
Nicola’s family is currently in a state of absolute agony as they await the dreadful results of the forensic examination.
The forensic dive expert named Peter Faulding is also coming under fire when he announced early on during the investigation that Nicola Bulley was not in the river. This is when the police opted to shift the search to the sea, but again a lot of doubts were raised on that condition too.
“If Nicola was in that river, I would have found her. She was not there”these were his final words and it just remains so tragic how she was located in the same place that they had spent days searching.
